The champions' race

For the fourth year running, the Slopestyle World Cup is stopping off in Tignes. This stage will see the world's best riders compete against each other on a course specially created for the event.

Tignes has once again established itself as THE benchmark freestyle resort in France, with two stages of the Freestyle World Cup featuring Slopestyle skiing, as well as the final stage of the Big Air World Cup.

It's a real treat not only for the athletes competing, but also for all the fans and spectators who have come, specially or otherwise, to enjoy the show put on by the riders over five days of training, qualifying and competition.

The event takes place at the foot of the legendary ‘Double M’ piste in Tignes Val Claret.

WHAT IS SLOPESTYLE?

Slopestyle is a freestyle discipline practised on skis or snowboard (in Tignes, the World Cup is ski-only). The aim is for the athletes to follow a course designed for the competition, which has several modules, bumps and rails.
